Medicare

You may call me at (602) 690-9358 (TTY: 711) if you have any questions about Medicare, how and when you can enroll, prescription drug coverage, and your options within the program. I will answer my phone unless I'm in a meeting or on the other line.

I work with people throughout the Phoenix-metro area who are turning 65 within the next 7 months and those who have delayed going on Medicare at age 65 but are now ready to enroll.   

Each person who I work with gets my in-person, undivided attention where I patiently and thoroughly explain how Medicare works, your options within the program, and answer any questions that you may have regarding Medicare.  At the end of the meeting, I will give you some advice. What you do with the advice is up to you.  I make all of this very easy to understand, so I'm sure that you will find our meeting worthwhile.  

Here are some the important issues that are addressed when helping you with your Medicare decision:  

  • How to sign up for Medicare  
  • When you can enroll in the various Parts of Medicare (A, B, C, D) 
  • The different parts of Medicare and the purpose of each part 
  • If you need to apply for Medicare through a paper application and where to get that application 
  • Your choices within the Medicare program 
  • The costs associated with Medicare 
  • Prescription drug coverage (Part D) 
  • The three decisions you have to make and the order in which to make those decisions. 

As a CFP® practitioner, I look at your entire situation before making any recommendation.  No one wants to be over- or under-insured, so It’s important to have a plan in place that makes sense for you based on your financial picture.  You will know the plusses and minuses of your options by the end of our meeting so that you can make an informed decision as to what you want your Medicare plan to look like.
